What is the most difficult part of writing a murder mystery? Creating the murder is not difficult. Creating the mystery is difficult but it is not something one cannot manage with experience. What is difficult is to come up with a plot that satisfies a wide range of audience. If I were to stick to those who read murder mysteries only, then perhaps I will never sell my books. I often have to come up with sub plots and scenarios that will help make the story more appealing for readers of other genres as well.

There comes a time in your life when you are in a position to laugh at all the sad things that have occurred in your life. Of course, I laughed a lot when I was abandoned at the altar just a few minutes before my wedding. However, that was a cynical laughter that helped me feel as if I was not crying about my sadness. Of course, this laughter invariably ended in a lot of anger and tears and I found it very difficult to proceed ahead with my life after the event.

Time, as they say, heal s everything and it did a pretty good job in my case. Today, I am in a position to laugh well when my friends tell me that my husband rather the person who would have been my husband left me because I had a fantastic Batman comic book collection. You will find this surprising but I used to look into the mirror and used to focus on each and every part of my body trying to analyze whether it help me or work against me during my wedding.

To put things in perspective, I must confess that I even used a smile at the mirror for hours at a stretch just to analyze whether the dental implants were in any manner affecting my personality. Of course, time went on and I found it advisable to stay away from such lunatic activities. I found it easier to laugh with my friends when something as inane as my comic book collection was described as the reason for my loss. I am yet to reach at the stage where I am thankful that I did not marry that person.

Of course, many friends of mine have told me that a person who will leave you stranded at the altar without a word of apology is somebody who would have invariably left you before the end of life. In some weird manner, I think it makes a lot of sense. A person who cannot have the ability to walk the aisle and get married at the altar cannot be called a brave person, right?

Do you know what the most difficult part of writing murder mysteries is? Some individuals are of the opinion that coming up with the plot is the most difficult part. Well, the truth is that the plot of a murder mystery is a very simple one indeed. Somebody dies and nobody knows how he dies. The success of the book depends on whether the mystery is resolved in a satisfactory manner. This is where the expertise of the individual enters the picture.

An amateur author will often try to explain the mystery in a detailed manner. He will never leave clues for the reader. Even if he does, he will make it them so obvious that the mystery comes to an end immediately. The point is that an amateur author will shift from one extreme to the other. Either he will leave the audience in the dark throughout the book or he will make the point of revealing the mystery in the first few pages itself.

Amateur authors often make use of an unknown and difficult to believe fact as the focal point for the mystery. Since you were not aware of the same, it is obvious that you would not have solved the murder mystery without completing the book. On the other hand, a successful author will introduce you to dermal fillers Essex as a random fact and use it in a smart manner at the end of the book to explain what the mystery was all about.

That is when you realize that you would have understood what the issue was all about if only you had paid more attention to the random fact introduced in the book. To get this right is a very difficult task. This is the reason why bulk of the murder mysteries available in the market today are just not worth reading.

One of the things that always used to bug me about superheroes when I was a kid was that they all had secret identities that they hid behind. Spiderman was really nerdy photographer Peter Parker; Superman was really the even nerdier Clark Kent; and Batman was, well, the millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. OK, maybe Bruce didn’t need to go shouting from the rooftops that he was the caped crusader in order to get some female attention, but I had no clue why the others would keep quiet about their alter egos when they must have known that Mary Jane and Lois Lane would have been putty in their hands if they’d only known the truth.

It’s only as I’ve got older that I’ve realised why these average guys might want to keep their superhero status a secret. After all, superheroes cause a lot of collateral damage and in these litigious times there are bound to be a few members of the public who would be more likely to make a Personal Injury Trusts claim against these masked avengers than throw them a ticker tape parade. All of the movie adaptations of the best superhero stories have featured devastation on a massive scale, with the cities of New York, Metropolis and Gotham lying in ruins once the villain has been beaten. Even the comics themselves, while less violent and on a much smaller scale, still manage to feature some innocent passer-by having his property smashed to pieces or suffering what would be described today as post-traumatic stress disorder as he witnesses a battle between a man dressed as a bat and a psycho with hideous grinning make-up!

When you think of the costs that superheroes would have to pay out in damages and compensation, not to mention all the time they would waste sitting in court rooms while their nemeses ran riot outside, it’s no wonder they all maintain their secret identities so carefully!

I read this the other day and was quite frankly inspired by it. A Blackburn based window cleaner Stephen Neatis is preparing to walk from Ewood Park in Blackburn to Preston North End’s Deepdale ground. Well, that does not sound like anything inspiring, does it? Why, you may ask? The window cleaner became friend with a couple from Bristol whose son, just 3 years old, not only has Down syndrome, but also neuroblastoma, which is an extremely aggressive form of cancer.

The Bristol-based family needs help to finance the specialist treatment their son needs. Mr Neatis, who is a devoted father of six, one with Down syndrome and another with autism, understands just how hard it can be to manage the everyday expense in the current economic climate, let along coping with specialist treatment as well. So in order to try and help them out he has decided to take on the 11.1 mile walk and his friend Alan Duckworht will be joining him; however Alan is going to do it dressed as a baby.

When asked, Mr Neatis said “I did not want to throw myself out of a plane or of the top of a tall building. Because we have disabled children we have got to know people all over the world.”

Just goes to show that social networks such as Facebook can build much more than just friends to randomly poke or play games with. These networks can build so much more than what even the creators probably ever thought possible.

One thing from this story that did make me smile, other than the obvious, was the idea of a grown man dressing as a baby. Now, if it were at all possible to get your average commercial window cleaning company to enforce a dress code like that, it would make the office workers'day a little less dull.

One of the hardest and most difficult tasks in the world is dealing with your ex-girlfriends and also how to remain friends with them. Those who have the ability really deserve a pat on their shoulders, because being friends with your ex girlfriend is just like sitting inside a room with people splashing buckets of water on your head. In fact, taking up social care jobs in some riot ridden country maybe a smoother experience! No wonder, many people call it the eighth wonder of the world.

Usually when a relationship ends, it leaves behind lots of bad memories (the good memories go into cold storage). Generally men think about their “image”, and this is what makes them more stubborn than women. Men are also less likely to remain on friendly terms with someone with whom they had a fight, not to speak about being “just friends, or on “friendly terms”.

The problem starts when a person who used to dream about marrying his girlfriend, attends her marriage, as she refused to acknowledge him as her love and life partner, but wanted to remain on friendly terms with him, and invited him to become her “Best Man” at the wedding ceremony. At this stage all his male well wishers and friends will start to feel bad about it and sympathize with him, but at the same time wonder, how could he be “such a big hearted man?”

A man with a normal sized heart will feel that he is an idiot and has also become the laughing stock amongst his acquaintances, after being ditched by his ex. By becoming the “Best Man” in the wedding, he may also become too lost in his thoughts, or might even drown his sorrows in liquor. His male egoistic friends may start telling him that what a fool he has been and may even advice him to cut off all relationships with his ex girlfriend. All this results in lots of ill feeling and heart breaks, and so it would be better to start a new relationship with someone else. However, the debate goes on and on, as the answer to the question plays hide and seek, and everything comes to a dead end.

I am a wanna be investor but deciding on here to invest my hard earned money is a challenge much is the same ay deciding on D Q Global for my duplication purposes. My investment advisor told me I should consider bonds as an investment tool.

In order to make a safe investment, investors over the world tend to opt for bonds. However, there is no guarantee that the acquisition will be a good one and so as to skew the outcomes in their favour, investors use a set of fundamental rules to help them.

As an investor, you have to consider different ways of buying bonds. For instance, you can use two of three ways to buy the bonds yourself, and for the safety of your investment, you should find at least another way to buy them indirectly.

There are also small companies, which you can employ to purchase a number of bonds. They are called brokerage firms, and they charge a small commission from the amount of the bonds you bought. Keep in mind that some of these brokerage firms will require a minimum investment amount from you and this can be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Furthermore, you can adhere to a governmental program, which will make your job easier, as they have experts in domain and it is the best way to avoid the extra commissions applied by the dedicated firms.

There are other methods of buying bonds and they are for the person who does not hold an actual bond. They are based on mutual funds that are specialised in bonds, which mean the buyer will have the possibility of purchasing a bond with the help of the mutual fund.

Everyone knows that Bristol is great, don’t they? Well, it is, and if you didn’t know, here is a conclusive definition of why:

1) Bristol people are the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet. Seriously, they are, and they’ll help you out of any fix.

2) Bristol folk have a wonderful sense of humour. They love a good old laugh, and are happy to laugh at themselves in the process!

3) Bristolians have, undoubtedly, the best accents bar none of anyone on earth. Seriously, I ain’t even messing.

4) Bristol contains the following winning elements: fantastic countryside, amazing shopping, even really nice rivers that aren’t all mucky and filled with junk.

5) We have the best beer and tons of pubs. We make our own beer and it happens to be something we are very good at!

6) The only problem with Brizzle, of course, is that once you come here and enjoy yourselves, you’ll never want to go back to your old life back wherever it is you come from. It isn’t our fault, so don’t go blaming us for this, right?!

7) And did I mention that we also make cider like nobody else can? Well we do. Nobody beats making cider like we do!

Even London electricians tend to throw in the towel and move to Bristol. Seriously my friend, how many more reasons do you need to give Bristol its due?

9) Last but not least, when it comes to weather, we ain’t half bad either. It does tend to rain a fair bit here sometimes, but it’s that awesome Bristol rain, you know? You just can’t beat it!

Stuck with your mystery writing? Do what I do and create new characters from the seemingly “normal” people who you know and love. Or just know. I personally will never love my neighbours but that’s another story…

1) Mrs Millen’s: in real life, Mrs Millen’s is a short, kind, spectacle-wearing old lady. Yet in my mind and on the page, Mrs Millen’s becomes a super sleuth! By using her special wiggly ears – and extra-large ear-lobes – she can hear clues from miles around, making her the ideal detective to solve any dastardly crime!

2) Mr Gum: Mr Gum is actually Mr Hanson, but we’ve always called him that – me and my mate Doug Hyde , that is – because he is…hm, always chewing gum? He also has a voice which always sounds like he is chewing something. He would be Mrs Millen’s dependable sidekick, and the one who is always watching Mrs Millen’s and thinking “gosh, she is quite fine!”

3) Roger the postman: now, Roger may seem to be just an average postman who always says hello, but what is that in his bag? Is it a knife? Probably not, it’s just letters, but for the purpose of tension, in my novels he becomes a murderous postman serial-killer who is impossible to pin-down!

If you’re stuck, just look around you and plenty of character ideas will soon be revealed. Just don’t go showing any of them what you’ve written, or someone like Roger might get really angry and turn into his alter ego, noooooooooo!

As I have said at the bottom of this page, I have written an awful lot of About Me sections. Frankly now I am totally sick of it. The thing is, after all these years, “me” changes a lot from day to day. Every time I open my eyes I am, as nature intended, slightly older yet conversely newer than the day before. How to explain who I am to others every new day is becoming a real chore as I grow closer to death.

And now that depressing bit is over, I can take a sigh of relief and say what is good about learning about me:

1) I learn that I can take on new challenges. That’s pretty cool. Even now, as an adult, I sometimes learn to do things which I have been scared of since being a child. For example, I used to be scared horribly of clowns, but now I have made my piece with them. Miraculous, don’t you think?

2) Meeting new people. As I learn more, I open myself up to new interests. A great thing indeed. I meet different kinds of people and that’s an awful lot of fun.

3) These new people and interests create a sense of empowerment. I learn that I am better at some things than I thought, and worse at others. This grounds me and make me confident but not cocky, which is what I have been striving for all along.

4) I can watch new documentaries, what with my new-found knowledge. This is great because I always had an aversion to them. I watched one about DNA Test procedures in an Alabama jail the other day. And now I know what convicted felons in Alabama sound like, which is of no use but mildly entertaining. I’ve always liked doing impressions.
