Loss libido can also be a sign of Cushing’s Syndrome, which occurs when the body contains too high a level of the hormone cortisol. Treatments for this disease include surgery, radiation therapy and medication.
Loss libido can also be a sign of Hemochromatosis which is a genetic condition where the body absorbs too much iron. Treatments for this condition include medication and blood removal.
The best thing to do if you are experiencing loss libido is to contact your doctor to be sure there in no underlying health problem.
