Why We Are brilliant

Murder mysteries are brilliant. So is Bristol. Bristol is brilliant! What do you get when you combine these two things? Well, awesome murder mysteries based in probably the best (in my opinion) most brilliant city in the entire planet, of course.

But I know what you’re thinking: hang on a second…Bristolian murder mysteries? Surely if it was going to be that interesting then I would already have seen it on TV…wouldn’t I?

What can I say, you may have a point. Much as it saddens me, there is no Crime Scene Investigation Bristol. Why is this? Who knows, I can only assume that it’s the language…

Yes, I have to admit it, we do have a certain way about us and that presents a problem. Some people, the morons, they just don’t understand us. They treat us cider drinkers like we’re from another planet.

That is why I am now (now as in from now to my later years because these things don’t happen overnight, even in Bristol) going to take on the world by writing a series of un-put-down-able (what’s called a “page-turner” by people outside of Bristol) murder mysteries based in this thoroughly unbelievably brilliant city.(The first concerns Margaret and how she solves a murder while simultaneously fighting a drug gang who are disguised as a group of surgeons who specialize in soving Facial redness .)

Watch this space.

As for the language, I intend to print a key at the back which will tell people how to interpret the many difficult to understand Bristolian words used throughout the book, so in other words, look out ’arry Potter!
